Our services
The goal of the Life Skills clinic is to help your child reach their full potential. We work with families, schools, and other professionals to help your child continue to grow, achieve, and have fun.
On your first visit, we will work with you and your child to identify their learning and developmental needs. Based on the outcomes of your first visit, goals of therapy might include helping your child:
- Prepare for prep or grade one
- Develop skills for learning, including writing, concentration and organisation skills
- Develop play and social interaction skills
- Improve their general co-ordination and participation in physical activities
- Improve their skills in using their hands when working with scissors, small toys or craft materials
- Become more independent in looking after themselves day-to-day with things such as dressing, using cutlery, and getting ready for school.
