How do I make an appointment?

You can request an appointment online for any of our clinics. We will contact you within 1-2 working days to arrange a suitable time. Alternatively, you can call us on (07) 3365 2232 between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Consider bringing the following items to your appointment:

  • letter of referral (if applicable)
  • payment method
  • Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card

What should I wear?

Some services may require you to move around or sit for periods of time. Therefore you should wear comfortable clothes and suitable footwear.

How do I get to the clinics?

All our clinics are conveniently located at UQ's St Lucia campus, with free on-site parking available on Slip Road or Therapies Road. Download the UQMaps app for iPhone or Android. The clinics are also close to public transport

Who can access the services?

Our clinics can be accessed by all members of the public as well as students and staff of the University.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Referrals are not required to attend our clinics.

 

During your visit

How long does an appointment take?

The length of the appointment depends on the services provided and comply with industry standards. Initial appointments range from 60 minutes to three hours, with subsequent appointments ranging from 30 minutes to two hours.

What if something is wrong with me that is too complex for a student?

Students are supervised by qualified staff at all times ensuring clients receive the best possible assessment, care and treatment. If required, you would be referred to an external health provider for complex treatment or services not provided at our clinics.

What are my payment options?

We accept payment by EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard.

Will I receive a discount? 

A 15% discount is applicable to all services for those clients with a current Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, UQ staff members, and UQ students. This discount does not apply to goods. Please refer to the terms and conditions for more information. 

Can I use NDIS funding? 

We are currently accepting self-managed clients under the NDIS funding.
