Steve West-Newman

Steve graduated from UQ in 1992 and since has worked in both private practice and hospital settings, covering most areas of physiotherapy. Steve spent most of his time working in the musculoskeletal area and has spent numerous years clinically supervising students.

Prior to 2014, Steve had spent nine years in Cambodia, developing the physiotherapy profession there. He took leave from this work in 2010 to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) at UQ. He has developed a broad interest in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and in particular how to incorporate research findings into clinical practice.
