Sonia Hoppe

Sonia brings more than 20 years clinical experience working with clients with neurological and chronic conditions and disorders associated with ageing, to her role as Clinical Educator in the Neurological, Ageing and Balance Clinic. She has worked as a team member in the acute hospital, rehabilitation, private and community settings.

Sonia has particular interest and expertise in the management of clients who have suffered a stroke and traumatic brain injury. She is passionate about working with students and helping them to become increasingly independent in providing excellent care for clients and has significant experience in both pre-clinical and clinical education of physiotherapy students.

Sonia enjoys helping clients in the stage of neurological rehabilitation where they reintegrate into society and/or work and learn to have a new but still significant and fulfilling place in the community.
