UQ Musculoskeletal & Sports Injury Physiotherapy Clinic

Reduce pain with free at-home physiotherapy

The UQ Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Clinic offers to the public the services of registered physiotherapists advancing their qualifications in managing pain conditions. By using video conferencing technology, we can bring the clinic to your home, anywhere in Australia!

Our physiotherapists are completing the Master of Physiotherapy, and are developing the specialised skills used by physiotherapists in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. All appointments are overseen by qualified expert clinicians.

Our dedicated team of physiotherapists work with people suffering from conditions including:

  • Arthritis and joint pain
  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Posture related pain
  • Headaches
  • Sports or work related injuries such as sprains and strains
  • Tendinopathy or tendonitis

What do you need for an online consult?

All you need is a computer or device with a functioning microphone and webcam.

Our clinics use the videocalling platform Zoom, providing a private consultation between yourself, the physiotherapist and the educator.

What you can expect

In your consultation, the physiotherapist will ask you questions in order to fully understand your problem. The educator and physiotherapist will then determine how they can best assist you. This will likely involve providing you with advice, education, exercises and follow up sessions as required. All of this is possible online.

How much will this cost?

This is a free community service. You will not be asked to pay.
